During the quarter CSSC staff provided information consultation and technical assistance to 

NGOs, CBOs, Initiative Groups and representatives of other sectors. 

CSSC staff provided consultation to Health Grant program applicants. 10 proposals have been 

reviewed, consulted and submitted to Counterpart for consideration. 

CSSC plays a role of the intermediary organization providing information and data for 

International Community. 

Internal Capacity Building 

CSSC Director visited Dushanbe CSSC within the week to gain experience. He was provided 

orientation on the specifics of the work, guidelines and practical aid by visiting communities and 

participating in the Centers events. 

Community Outreach 

CSSC staff facilitated PCAP activities within Health Program. 

CSSC conducted the first CDD Conference with participation of Community leaders, NGOs and 

Governmental Officials who discussed community problems and opportunities for community 

empowerment.

1. Ashgabat  CSSC 

Activity Overview 

During reporting period the Ashgabat CSSC conducted three Information Clubs for 75 

participants from different NGOs and initiative groups.  

On May 29, the Ashgabat CSSC conducted a roundtable on follow up activities from the 

Volunteer Forum. Forum participants presented action plans on volunteer development and 

implementation.  

Ashgabat CSSC gathered information for the database of experts and identified nine people 

available to consult on CAG projects in various specific topics.  

The database of NGOs was updated with forms from 45 organizations collected.
